Kauni-Jacke / Kauni-Cardigan

So, für dieses Jahr muss ich das Projekt als nicht ganz fertig beenden. Immerhin habe ich jetzt bis auf die Armöffnung alle Steeks offen und auch schon die Ärmel zusammengenäht und mit Bündchen versehen, unten das Bündchen angestrickt und eine Jackenpasse fertig. Die zweite und der Halsausschnitt fehlen noch, außerdem muss ich alle Steeks innen annähen und die Ärmel einnähen.

Well, for this year I'll have to stop knitting that project and call it just not finished. After all I have cut open all the steeks with exception of the sleeve opening. Also I sowed the sleeves and provided them with cuffs. Also there is the lower ribbing at the body part and one side of the cardigan opening. This leaves me with the second cardigan opening and the neck ribbing and I'll have to sow on the sleeves and fix the steeks on the inside.

Zunächst gibt es den Steek noch unaufgeschnitten, nur die beiden Seiten gehäkelt. Danach zieht man die Häkelkante ein bisschen auseinander und schneidet die Leiter dazwischen. Funktioniert wunderbar und tut echt nicht weh.

First you'll see the yet to be cut steek with the two crochet sides. Having that you just pull apart the two sides and cut the small ladders in between. Works out perfectly and doesn't hurt a bit.

Hier sieht man den Steek aufgeschnitten. Solange man nicht grade an der Häkelkante zieht, hält das Ganze wunderbar und lässt sich als Nahtzugabe einnähen.

This shows the cut steek. As long as you don't pull the crochet edging, it holds wonderfully and may be well fixed as a seem allowance.
Der Körper zeigt auf diesem Bild, wo sich das Ganze optisch "wellt". Das ist der Grund, warum mein nächstes Projekt etwas mehr Kontrolle bei der Farbentwicklung haben wird ;-) Ich hoffe, das zeichnet nicht grade meine Röllchen nach *grummel

This picture shows, where the whole thing seems "corrugate". That's the reason why I want more control over colour development in my next Fair Isle Project. I hope this doesn't display my own "reels" specially *hmph*
Hier sieht man die Ärmel, einen von außen, einen von innen mit den beiden Steeks, die ein bisschen wie die Nahtzugabe bei genähten Objekten aussehen.

These are the sleeves, one from outside, the other from within showing the two steeks. They look a bit like the seem allowance of sowed objects.
