Farbenspiele / Colourgames

Alter Schlappen, was hab ich mich jetzt mit diesen Farben verkünstelt. Kalkulationsprogramm auf die richtige Größe gebracht, das Muster übertragen und dann Farben rumgeschoben, wie es nur ging. Und das bedeutet, Pünktchen für Pünktchen mit neuen Farben ausstatten.

Ich zeige nur ein winziges Bild von einem Ausschnitt meines derzeitigen Gemütszustandes (der letztlich dem Originaldesign recht nahe kommt), damit ich nicht irgendwie verknackt werde wegen Rechteverletzung. Soll ja nur einen Eindruck von dem Farbenspiel geben, das grade mein Favorit ist. Auf dieser Basis stricke ich dann die Maschenprobe in der Hoffnung, dass das dann funktioniert.

Holy Mary, what a fiddling with colours! Gave the calculation program the right size, took the pattern and tried out colours at my heart's content. And that means giving new colours to each single cell and that on and on and on and on again.

I'm showing just a tiny picture of a part of my present state of mind (which comes pretty close to the original design) in order not to be violating any rights. It's just to give an impression of the colour game I'm prefering at present. On this basis I will knit a swatch hoping that this will work out.

Damit habe ich für die Ravelympics letztlich fünf Optionen:

1. Ich stricke dieses Mörderteil.
2. Ich stricke eine zwei- bis dreifarbige Jacke, die ja sowieso auf dem Plan steht. Für diesen gibt es auch bereits ein Muster nebst Anleitung. Aber da musste ich nicht die Farben selbst verteilen, da habe ich sozusagen das Muster nach den Farben ausgesucht.
3. Ich stricke was fertig, das eh schon vor sich hin unlustet, und mache vielleicht dazu noch ein Paar Socken.
4. Ich stricke nur zwei Paar Socken.
5. Ich ribble Inishmore auf und gewinne den Preis für die schmerzhafteste Ribbelei. Oder so.

So this leaves me with five options for ravelympics:

1. I'll be knitting this mother of a challenge.
2. I'll knit a two or three colour cardigan, which is on my list anyway. For this there is a stich and cardi pattern. I didn't have to choose colours since I searched for the pattern according to given colours.
3. I'll finish something, which is lurking in my works in progress anyway and maybe an additional pair of socks.
4. I'll just knit two pairs of socks.
5. I'll frog Inishmore and win the prize for the most painful frogging or so.
   

Und jetzt stricke ich Dakota weiter. Das Ding hat ein paar Denkfehler, die nicht meine sind. Ich finde meine ja schon nicht fein, die anderer Leute brauche ich dann wirklich nicht noch.

And now I'm going to knit on with Dakota. This has some thinking errors of the designer (or maybe it's a feature, not a bug). I don't like my thinking errors and so am not in need of earning the ones of other people...
