Fäden anfilzen / Felting Strands

Wie versprochen gibts nun hier die Bilderanleitung zum Anfilzen eines neuen Garnknäuels. Das ist meine liebste Variante der Verbindung von altem und neuem Garn, solange der Wollanteil hoch genug ist (mindestens 60%). Keine Ahnung warum, aber das funktioniert sogar bei Garn mit Superwash-Ausrüstung, etwa Sockenwolle. Die Methode eignet sich für mich besonders fürs Tücherstricken, weil dort alle meine anderen Vernähmaßnahmen irgendwie zu sehen sind.

I promised you the instruction for felting strands. Here it is - my preferred method of connecting strands, as long as the proportion of wool is big enough in the yarn (at least 60%). I don't know why, but this works out even for superwash yarn, e.g. sockyarn. I like this method especially when knitting shawls, since all other ways of darning ends in I use remain visible.
