Chaotischer Sonntag | Chaotic Sunday

Just some random writings down:

1. Heute ist Sonntag. Ich bin um halb neun nach knapp 13 Stunden Arbeit heimgekommen. Gestern, am Samstag, waren es etwas mehr als 14 Stunden Arbeit.
1. It's Sunday today. I returned home at 8.30 pm after almost 13 hours of work. Yesterday, it was Saturday, I worked for a bit more than 14 hours.

2. Das bedeutet, ich bin im Dunklen ins Büro gefahren und im Dunklen heimgekommen. Immerhin hatte ich das Projekt aus dem letzten Post dabei, das sieht auch ein bisschen aus wie Sonne.
2. This means, I went to the office in the dark and returned home in the dark. Fortunately I carried the project of my previous post with me. It looks a bit like the sun.

3. Ich fühle mich grade, als würde ich in einem Mäuserad rennen müssen, damit die Welt sich weiterdreht.
3. I feel like having to run in a rat race so the world will go on turning.

4. Das ist natürlich kompletter Blödsinn. Wenn ich einfach mal stehen bleiben würde, würden zwar ein paar Sachen nicht erledigt, aber die gute alte Erde würde sich weiterdrehen.
4. This of course is complete nonsense. If I stopped racing, some things would not get done, but the good old earth wouldn't stop turning its turns.

5. Ich stricke fast nur noch im Zug und ungefähr zehn Minuten nach Mitternacht für eine halbe Stunde, um mich runterzukriegen für Heia Machen.
5. I'm knitting almost exclusively in trains and about ten minutes past midnight for half an hour to calm down and prepare me for beddy-byes.

6. Meine Projekte sind klein und schnell, und trotzdem gehen sie langsam.
6. My projects are small and quick and still very slow.

7. Ich stricke mal wieder an Socken (klein und schnell? Pah!). Immerhin ist die erste bald fertig.
7. I'm knitting socks again (small and quick? Pah!). After all the first will soon be finished.

8. Ich war mal eine Schnellstrickerin.
8. I used to be a fast knitter.

9. 5. war gelogen, ich stricke auch abends im Hotel.
9. N°5 was a lie, I'm knitting in hotels in the evening.

10. Ich bin grade viel in Hotels.
10. I spend a lot of time in hotels these days.

11. Ich werde Urlaub nehmen, wenn der erste Zugschaffner mich mit Namen anredet.
11. I will go on holidays as soon as the first train conductor knows my name.

12. Ich würde gerne viel mehr stricken.
12. I'd love to knit a lot more.

13. Vorher muss ich meine Wohnung aufräumen.
13. Before that I will have to clear up my flat.

14. 13. war gelogen, ich muss lieber stricken. Die aufgeräumte Wohnung bringt mich nicht runter, wenn ich eigentlich viel lieber mit Wolle und Garn spielen möchte.
14. N°13 was a lie, I must rather knit. The untidy flat doesn't calm me down, when I much prefer to play with needles and yarn.

15. Immerhin bewege ich mich mehr, das ist schonmal eine gute Nachricht.
15. The good thing is, I'm getting a lot more exercise.
 
16. Mein nächster Urlaub wird eine Räumaktion. Der letzte Urlaub war auch eine Räumaktion (nicht in meiner Wohnung, so verzweifelt ist die Lage noch nicht).
16. My next holidays will be dedicated to clearing up things. The last holiday were also clearing up holidays (not of my flat, it's not that desperate yet)

17. Mein übernächster Urlaub findet irgendwo statt, wo mich keiner findet.
17. My next but one holiday will take place somewhere unknown to anybody.

18. Ich gehe jetzt meine fünf Reihen stricken, bevor ich schlafen gehe.
18. I'll go knitting my five rows before bed now.

19. Bis bald mal wieder hier, dann gibts auch garantiert Fotos von Fertigem. Ich bin fest entschlossen.
