Vorweihnachtliche Zwischenbilanz | taking stock in holiday season

Last year at about this time there was still a hell of a lot to do. Comparing that my holiday season is a piece of cake:
  • The socks need a home. I'm at the heel flap of the second sock, they will be done by the weekend.
  • The Eve gloves are quite laborious, still they will also have to be done rather quickly.
  • I finished a shawl - Convertible - quite some time ago. Still I found out it was too short, so I had to lengthen it. This is done, so what remains is blocking and adding buttons. Only then I will show pictures.
  • A small shawl will have to be knit entirely. It's for my oldest godchild and will be small, but beautiful (and warm).
  • One hat will not be a present, but is a commission.
  • The Meg Swansen cardigan has millions of ends to darn in and then needs edging and buttons.
No reason to despair, is there? Still I'm getting quite hectic, since there's a hell of a lot to do in office, until I will be allowed to go on Christmas leave. Well, my two afflictions are battling hard, I tell you.
