Status ohne Fotos / State of the art without pictures

Nunja, meine Vorsätze waren dann doch nicht so durchhaltbar, wie ich mir das gedacht habe. Meine Projekte stellen sich deshalb folgendermaßen dar:

1. Pi Are Square: Bin grade im zweiten Muster, werde versuchen, das Ding nächste Woche fertigzustellen, damit seine Besitzerin es rasch kriegt.

2. Balino-Pulli: Raglan von oben, war so spannend, dass ich den oberen Teil fertig habe (incl. Fäden vernäht, Krebsmaschenumrandung und angenähtem Knopf) und im Moment die Ärmel stricke, bis ich mir überlegt habe, was unterhalb der Taille für ein Muster hin soll. Leider ist der Pulli inzwischen zu groß für die Handtasche, deshalb brauchte ich ein anderes Mitnehmprojekt. Und so gibt es seit heute das

3. Mitnehmprojekt: das erste Paar Socken für meine Nichte in Regia Silk schwarz mit einem spontan während des Brunchs heute erfundenen Strukturmuster. Hab grade die Ferse fertiggestellt.

4. Convertible: Ist fertig, muss noch gespannt werden und Knöpfe kriegen.

Die anderen Sachen , vor allem der Fair Isle Pulli - sind leider ein bisschen liegen geblieben.

Dafür hat meine Pläne-Liste zwei neue Items erhalten. Die Freundin, mit der ich heute brunchen war, ist schwanger, deshalb stehen da jetzt eine Babydecke und eine Babyjacke. Gottseidank hab ich passendes Garn im Vorrat!

Well, my plans had to remain a potentially good idea, they didn't work out as intended. So my projects are thus:

1. Pi Are Square: Halfway through the second pattern; I would like to try to finish the thing by the end of this week, so my friend will receive it as fast as possible.

2. Balino-Sweater: top-down raglan, which was so thrilling that I finished the yoke part including darning in ends, crocheting edges and sowing on the button). I'm knitting the sleeve at present until I'll have decided which pattern to follow the waist. Unfortunately the sweater is too big for my handbag, so I needed another travelling project. Therefore I started today the

3. First pair of socks for my niece in Regia Silk black in a pattern spontaneously designed during our brunch today. Just finished the heel.

4. Convertible: Knitting is done, needs blocking and buttons.

All the other stuff - unfortunately especially the Fair Isle Sweater - are quite untouched.

My plans list received two new items: The friend I had brunch with today is pregnant. So I decided to knit a baby blanket and a February Baby Sweater. Thank God there's yarn for this in my stash.
