Ich freu mich so / I'm so happy

I was unfaithful to my wonderful yarn store ... but I'm so happy! I've always wanted to knit a Fair Isle with original shetland 2-ply. Now I'm commissioned to knit the Cardigan of Meg Swansen's. Today the ordered yarn arrived and it's beautiful!

Well, yes, hrm, and then these colours were so stunning that I also had to order the yarn for the Hillswick Lumber for myself.

The upper picture shows the yarn for the swansen-cardigan, the lower one hopefully shows the colours of the Hillswick. They're both stunning. I tried to use as much daylight as possible to help show the colours, however they are even brighter in reality. Never mind, sometime there will be the finished objects to show their beauty.

I'll start the swansen-cardigan right away, hopefully it will work well. I intend to knit a set-in sleeve. Therefore I need a swatch in order to be able to calculate and decently plan the thing. Since I have no idea of how generously the material is calculated, the swatch will have to be as small as possible and on the other hand big enough to give me a reliable gauge. This is really thrilling to me!
