Unfertiges / Unfinished

Heute gibts Fotos (ähm, wieder mehr so mittelgute Fotos) von meinen unfertigen Sachen. Ich habe im Moment auf den Nadeln:

• Inishmore in einem wunderschönen dunkelgrün.
  
• Eine Fair-Isle-Jacke, die eigentlich nur in der Technik Fair-Isle ist, da ich zwei Farben und ein Muster durchgängig verwenden werde.
• February Lady Tunic aus einem Baumwolle-Leinen-Gemisch, etwas für das Frühjahr.

Today I'm showing pictures (well, my more less good pictures) of unfinished objects. At the moment I'm working at:

• Inishmore in a wonderful dark green
• A Fair-Isle Cardigan, where just the technique is fair-isle, since I'm using one pattern and two colours throughout the whole thing.
• February Lady Tunic in a yarn of cotton and linen, something for the spring.
  

Inishmore hat Pause, da das Wetter besser wird und ich ihn erst im nächsten Winter wieder nutzen kann. Es gibt einen Ärmel und das Rückenteil, die Hälfte ist also fertig. Ich werde ihn übrigens als Jacke und nicht als Pullover stricken, weil ich einen Pullover viel weniger nutzen kann als eine Jacke.

Inishmore is in break, since the weather is getting better and it has time until next winter. I finished the back and one sleeve. By the way I'll make a cardigan instead of a pullover, since there are much more occasions to wear a cardigan than a pullover.


Die Fair-Isle-Jacke ist aus einem wunderschönen Debbie-Bliss Garn in braun und petrol. Ich stricke das Muster von "Route 66" aus "Socken aus aller Welt", weil ich das so genial finde und denke, dass sich das auch auf einer Jacke ziemlich schön macht. Auch die Fair-Isle-Jacke hat Pause, wird nix für das Frühjahr. Deshalb gibt es wirklich nur ein Anstrickbild der ersten zwei Knäuel. Das habe ich gemacht, um zu sehen, ob ich genug Wolle habe.

The Fair-Isle-Caridgan I'm knitting out of a wonderful wool of Debbie Bliss in brown and blue-green. I'm knitting the pattern "Route 66" out of a German sock book, because I like it very much and I believe it will be pretty on a cardigan. This also is in a break, that's nothing for spring but for next winter. Therefore there is only a picture of the very start, which I had to make in order to find out whether I've got enough yarn.

Das dritte und letzte Teil ist das, was ich im Moment stricke. Nach dem February Lady Sweater habe ich das Ding "February Lady Tunic" genannt, weil ich es nach dem kraus rechten Teil zusammengestrickt habe. Gefällt mir bei diesem Muster einfach besser.

Das, was hier zu sehen ist, ist das Produkt des letzten Sonntags. Ich stricke die Ärmel direkt, weil ich denke, hinterher mit dem Rest des Körpers wird das ein furchtbares Gewirre, zumal ich das eh mit einem Nadelspiel stricke und das furchtbar glitschig ist. Ich mag einfach weder die ganz kurzen Rundnadeln noch Schlaufen Ziehen. Das Garn ist jedenfalls wunderschön und strickt sich für Baumwolle/Leinen erstaunlich gut. Nur die Maschen flutschen immer von der Nadel, wenn man nicht aufpasst wie ein Luchs!

The third and last work in progress is a real work in progress at the moment. I called it "February Lady Tunic" following the February Lady Sweater, since I started knitting in rounds after the garter stitch part. I like that better with this pattern.

The picture shows the result of last sunday's work. I'm knitting the sleeves before the rest of the body, since I knit those with DPNs and this is a quite slippery business. I like the very short circular needles as little as magic loop. I like the yarn very much and it is astonishingly well to knit for a cotton/linen mixture. Only the stitches slip off the needle if one is not very cautious.

Auf den drei Fotos sehen die Strickstücke so aus, als hätten sie alle eine ähnliche Farbe. Haben sie aber nicht, die Tunika ist ein sehr helles Grün, während Inishmore sehr dunkel ist und die Fair-Isle-Jacke sowieso eine komplett andere Farbe hat, mehr so blaugrün mit braun. Ich mag sie aber alle drei sehr.

The three WIPS seem to have a similar colour in the three pictures. They don't, the tunic is a very light green, Inishmore is dark-green and the Fair-Isle-Cardigan has a completely different colour, more blue-green with brown. Still I like all three of them.
